Big Boy Bed

Tyse has taken the step up to a single bed. The orginal plan was to have Tyse and Andrew share bunk beds upstairs.......Tyse had different plans (as usual) there was no sleeping upstairs for him. Sunday we "debunked" the beds and moved one down stairs to Tyses room. We were ready for a fight but he hopped right up and went to sleep in his bed for the night. I think Andrew is glad to have a room to himself.

Great Grandpa Hank was over for Tyses Birthday and got to have a little bit of bonding time with Jack. Its great to have family so close!!

SHOW TIME

Tyse can put on quite a a show. He loves to sing, dance, and play air guitar-he can put on quite a show. Here he is using a maraca as microphone.

What a Morning!!

What a morning!! I know everyone has one of those mornings, today was one for us, nothing seemed to go right. I was lucky to slap a frozen waffle and a banana on Andrews plate before school..........or did he even eat breakfast.????? I'm not even sure?!?!?!?


Anyway, on a lighter note, I found this quote the other day:

Beans, Beans

My dearest aunt makes these beans that the boys just love. They are like a cross between a dill pickle and a bean. She will slave away in her garden, in the hot blistering sun, to get these beans just right and then can them. Any gardner would be jealous of her garden- it is just amazing!! The other night I had to threaten Andrew that if he did not eat his supper he wouldn't be allowed to have any beans. After I said it I realized how funny that would sound to anyone else. Thanks Sue for all your hard labor in producing such a wonderful snack for the boys.
