When I went to a conference that this lady held on a Sat (see links below). I had a very bad attitude. Pretty much all that was going through my head during the driving time was "this is such a waste." She ended up being awesome and if you ever get the chance GO!! Go listen to what she has to say. I learned so much and have since tried to adopt some of what she has to say. I'd love to get her to speak in our school system sometime.

This is an older one, but its great!! Worksheets used to be a very high priority to me when working with the boys. I still think its important that they are able to sit and finish a project on paper but not nearly as important as I thought. There is more important things to work on. What do you think?

she looks like fun!
thank you very much for the shout out! glad it turned out to NOT be "a waste" !! :o)
I was lucky enough to see her a couple of months ago. I had the same attitude as it was one of our first beautiful, sunny days in a long time here in Seattle. SO not a waste of a day. Amazing, isn't she? I was incredibly inspired.
