Shaklee and Norwex

First of all, I love shaklee. If there is one thing I don't like about shaklee it is their window cleaner. If you don't know anything about shaklee, BH2 (hence the blog name) is the main cleaning concentrate that I use. Whatever you are cleaning, you just dilute differently. When I tried the "window cleaner" I wasn't exactly impressed with what my windows looked like when I was done. I had tried everything that I had ever read that was supposed to clean a window.... vinegar, newspaper, windex, baking soda, baking powder, lemon juice, pureed avocado and blueberry juice. Now I'm talking a good clean window... no streaks and no lint. Then
I came upon these..."rags". They really don't deserve to be called "rags", but that's what I call them. It's a product called Norwex and they know how to clean a window. Streak free. They also claim to be antibacterial, which isn't really important that my windows are anti bacteria but it's definitely a plus. They are guaranteed for 2 years and they are absolutely AWESOME. Try them, you wont be sorry. Seriously, all you need is these 2 "rags" and some H2O and you will have some streak free, lint free anti bacteria clean windows.

o kara i knew you would post a comment!! you have the same cleaning disorder as me dont you? except you still love your toxins. :) contact kim (kaeb) kellenberger (via facebook) to get those rags. you will love them, i sure do-i was a little hesitant to wash them, but they are just as good after a wash in the washing machine.

kara, actually those rags go together. one is used to put the wet on and the other used to dry.

Gina,

Don't you know that anti-bacteria is bad?! :) My problem with getting clean windows isn't so much the product (I love Glass Plus) as it is so much finding someone to do the job! You just can't find good help these days I tell ya. I am too busy getting my manicures and pedicures to be washing windows...

jamie,
its bad, really? i cant tell if your for real or not. you should try them, it does cut down on cleaning time. i have never tried glass plus-i sit like windex?

I was actually being for real. My friend who is an internal med doc refuses to use it. He says it is overkill...and I can't remember all of the other reasoning, but it sounded good at the time:) Glass Plus is like windex, but it cleans well and more importantly, smells really good...and is full of chemicals I'm sure :)

well, thats the only thing i use thats antibacterial-shaklee is not. i do use bleach once in a while for my toilet, but thats really it. so im sure i have more than enough bacteria in my house. :)

Gina,
Thanks for the plug for these... I've been contemplating buy them. Seems to be consitent that they work great.

I thought about buying these as well but... I just can't spend that much at one time on a rag. I'm a cheapy when it comes to that.
Jamie- my husband rolls his eyes at all this anti bacterial stuff too! I know- Gina why don't you just send Tyse over to my house and he can clean my windows once a year - about the only time they'll get cleaned is once a year. And yes, Gina- I still like my toxins. he he

i was the same way about not wanting to spend the money buying them. i decided if they really work (30.00 for both) and i dont have to buy windex or paper towels they i could easily make that money up pretty quickly. come over and grab the rags sometime and wash your front door or something just to try them :)

I just saw your blog post. I am a Norwex consultant & would love to tell you & your friends more about Norwex. Just to clarify the antibacterial part of our cloths - they are antibacterial for self-cleansing purposes. The agent is solely designed to inhibit bacterial odor, mold &/or mildew growth within the product. The enviro cloth (dampen the cloth & wipe away dirt & debris) and the window cloth (used after wiping the windows with the damp enviro cloth to polish the windows for a streak-free shine) are sold in a package for $30.99. Please contact me if you'd like more information. lsiaclean@sbcglobal.net or visit my website lisawalker.norwex.biz

Andrea here...I absolutely Love Shaklee. The window cleaning cloth is basically the same as the Norwex, but Norwex costs approximately $16 more than the Shaklee Window cloth. The window cleaner works great if you only use 2 drops per 16 oz of water. Just wanted to let y'all know. Have a blessed day.
