There are not many activities that we can do to catch the interest of both a 8 year old and a 1 year old at the same time. This is definitely one of them. They had a blast.
AND ONE LAST REASON PLAYING IN THE PUDDLES IS THE BEST THING TO DO--
YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO INSIDE TO TAKE A POTTY BREAK--
Jamie, as I was adding all these pictures for this blog post, I kept thinking of you. Thought you especially would enjoy all these "BOY" pictures. This is what you might have coming to you someday honey!!!!!!

:) When my mom was here visiting we were at the park for just a few minutes before my Caden needed to pee...grr! There weren't trees close by so I convinced him that he could stand by the van and pee like he was camping. He stood there for a little while but had a shy bladder and decided he could wait. I think he played for another half hour before we went home and then he used the toilet :) Maybe my boy will always be a city boy (except when he is out camping with his dad!) I have to ask...did they play in the puddle after he did his job?! I think I might be a city girl too!
Gina~ that is SO funny, because as I was looking at these pictures, I was like "oh, my gosh...what a mess!" You are such a good mom to let them play in the mud like that! So far, I'm quite enjoying the fact that I have a dainty, clean little girl! She does like to run the tips of her fingers through the mud....does that count? :)
I know, it is very hard at first to just let them go. I remember playing in puddles though when I was little it was so much fun. Plus, its a good thing skin cleans up so nicely!!
jamie b.

im laughing now, because i know jamie "b" knows what boys are like. its jamie "s" that im a little worried about when her twin boys arrive :)
